On September 27, CCRCGP's giant panda "Guo Guo" gives birth to a cub respectively at 17:35 and 23:12 and becomes the third mother delivering twins this year.  It is also Guo Guo's second time to bear twins after the earthquake and the third time to produce twins since its first birth.

        In 2005, Guo Guo had its primiparity and delivered a pair of twins at Wolong.  In 2008, it was rescued from the great earthquake and moved to Ya'an Bifengxia Base.  With keepers' good care, it relieved from the earthquake gradually and gave birth to the world's first twins "Ping Ping" and "An An'after the quake on July 6.  This year, it gives us another surprise.  "Ping Ping" and "An An" become their brother and sister.

        Guo Guo was born on September 14, 1996 at Wolong.  Its father is Xin Xing and mother is Jia Jia who was presented to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government by the Central Government in 1997 and now lives in Ocean Park of HK.  This June 13, Guo Guo mated with Lu Lu naturally.  Now it is Guo Guo's third birth and every birth are twins, which makes Guo Guo become the real twin mother.

        The employees of the center have made examination for the twins.  The results show that both the twins are female.  The first cub weighs 168.8g and the second 146.1g.  Till now, there have been 13 fetuses 16 foals born in CCRCGP.
